Professional and amateur riders competed for more than $2.5 million throughout the season in contingency money, performance-based bonuses and the series-end points fund. Also new in 2005, Weekend Warriors Trailers offered a $250 holeshot award at the National Arenacross Series for both main events each night, totaling $1,000 per weekend.

Included in the 2004 – 2005 contingency program were five major motorcycle manufactures paying out contingency prizes: Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, and Husqvarna. Several other motorcycle industry contingency sponsors posted money to the program as well: Niks Pro-X Pistons/ LA Sleeve, Pirelli Tires, Shoei Helmets, CHM Exhaust, Scott Goggles, Thor Apparel, and Wiseco Pistons.

In addition to contingency payouts, riders competed for purse money and performance-based bonuses each weekend as well as $115,000 series end points fund for the National and Regional Arenacross Series.

At each round, riders that participated in the National Arenacross Series competed for a weekend purse of $25,000 that was distributed amongst the top 15 riders in each of the four main events. Regional Arenacross paid out a $10,000 purse each weekend.

Riders also had the opportunity to pick up some extra money each weekend in the audience-interacted intermission: the Dash-for-Cash and the Extreme Jump Contest. After the completion of 26 total events this season, more than $30,000 was paid out to the participants.
